About Ayanfe
Hello! I am a very experienced and enthusiastic Chemistry tutor based in Ibadan, Nigeria, with a degree in Industrial Chemistry and over 5 years of teaching experience. I am dedicated to helping students succeed by making chemistry understandable, enjoyable, and relevant to their everyday life. I have worked with many students throughout my career, from beginners up to those studying for important exams. My teaching approach is thus based on patience, clear explanations, and personalized lessons in relation to the unique needs of each student. I believe that with proper guidance and support, every student is capable of succeeding in chemistry. As a tutor, I am committed to making sure the learning environment is professional, engaging, and supportive. My role does not end with ensuring improvement at an academic level but also encouraging further interest in the subject for enjoyment during the course of educational training in chemistry. My Approach to Tutoring:
Learning should be engaging, interactive, and tailored to meet the needs of each student. I try to explain confusing concepts in chemistry in a simple way, breaking down big concepts into small and relatable ones. My approach is focused on active learning; thus, students are always free to ask, explore concepts through activities, and participate in discussions relating the concept to real life.
Techniques & Methodology:
Concept Mapping: I make use of visual aids and diagrams in helping students establish relationships among different concepts of chemistry. The students practice problems in Chemistry regularly in an effort to apply what has been learned and enhance analytical skills. Interactive Lessons: A variety of multi-media resources is also used in making the lesson dynamic, such as videos and interactive quizzes. Relating abstract concepts of chemistry to real-life situations assists students in understanding where exactly what they are learning will fall. Length of Lessons:
Each lesson is typically 1 hour long, which I’ve found is ideal for maintaining focus and engagement while allowing enough time for in-depth exploration of topics.
Qualifications & Experience:
I am a graduate of Industrial Chemistry with 5+ years of experience teaching secondary school students. My experience includes preparing students for exams, helping them improve their grades, and making difficult topics more approachable and enjoyable.

I teach chemistry to students in secondary school, mainly preparing for exams or facing difficulties with some concepts. Whether it be in early years of high school or the last few months before graduating, I plan my lessons to meet your present level and particular needs.
