About Annalise

I am a passionate guitar tutor with 7 years of experience teaching school students, college learners, and working professionals. I believe that music is for everyone, and my teaching philosophy is based on patience, creativity, and helping students truly enjoy the learning process. I teach various styles including classical, jazz, electric, bass, and acoustic guitar. My lessons are always tailored to fit the student’s level, goals, and musical taste. I focus not just on technique, but also on building confidence and developing a real connection with the instrument. Over the years, many of my students have performed in school bands, local events, and even started their own music journeys. I aim to make every lesson inspiring, enjoyable, and effective. Watching my students grow and find their own voice through guitar is the most rewarding part of my work.

About the lesson

My teaching methodology for guitar is based on Empathy, Compassion, Communication, and Flexibility. I believe that every student learns in their own way and at their own pace. I listen carefully to understand their needs, strengths, and challenges. I use empathy and compassion to create a supportive and encouraging space where students feel confident and motivated. Communication is key in my lessons—I make sure my students understand each step clearly and feel comfortable asking questions. I am flexible with my teaching style and adapt my lessons based on the student’s progress and interest, whether it's classical, jazz, electric, bass, or acoustic guitar. I mix theory with practical playing to keep learning fun and meaningful. I also help students develop a real passion for music, not just skill. Besides guitar, I can also guide students in related music topics to support their overall growth as musicians.
