About Freya
My teaching methodology for guitar is built on a foundation of real-life examples, accountability, collaboration, and patience. I believe that learning the guitar should be an enjoyable and inspiring journey, so I use practical examples from everyday music to help students connect theory with real-world application. I emphasize accountability by setting clear goals and helping students stay motivated and on track to achieve them. Collaboration is at the heart of my approach, as I encourage students to explore their creativity, ask questions, and work together to solve musical challenges. I understand that learning an instrument takes time, so I am patient, providing steady guidance and encouragement as students build their skills at their own pace. Besides guitar, I also offer lessons in music theory, ear training, and composition, ensuring a well-rounded understanding of music. My goal is to create a supportive, fun, and effective learning environment for every student.

With 9 years of experience in teaching and performing, I am passionate about sharing the joy of guitar with students of all ages. Whether you're in school or college, I specialize in helping students develop a deep understanding of guitar through a balanced approach that includes technique, theory, improvisation, and composition. My teaching is centered around making learning fun, engaging, and tailored to each student’s unique goals and abilities.
Throughout my career, I've had the privilege of working with a wide range of students, from beginners to advanced players, and helping them unlock their full potential. I've also had the opportunity to perform in various settings, enriching my teaching with real-world experience.
My goal is to inspire students not only to become skilled guitarists but also to develop a lifelong love for music. I am committed to providing a supportive, motivating, and positive learning environment for all my students.
