About Trevor
My teaching approach combines empathy, flexibility, and clear communication to create a comfortable learning environment for each student. In guitar lessons, I adapt my methods based on each student’s skill level and musical goals, using techniques like ear training, improvisation, and personalized song selection. I also bring in related subjects, such as music theory and rhythm training, to help students understand the “why” behind their music. I’m here to motivate and support each student’s unique path, always encouraging questions and exploration. My goal is to make learning guitar enjoyable and inspiring, at every level of progress.

With over 8 years of experience, I specialize in teaching guitar to college students, focusing on jazz, blues, and contemporary styles. My lessons are interactive and tailored to each student's pace and interests. I bring innovative techniques, such as ear training, song breakdowns, and improvisation exercises, to help students connect deeply with their music. My goal is to create a supportive and creative space where students feel encouraged to explore, practice confidently, and develop their unique style.
