About Poppy
My piano teaching approach is built on real-life examples and case studies to help students connect music theory with actual performance. I use familiar songs and creative exercises to make learning enjoyable and relatable. Accountability and integrity are key parts of my lessons. I guide students to practise regularly, stay motivated, and build confidence through honest feedback and achievable goals. Each student’s progress is tracked carefully to ensure growth. Flexibility and creativity shape every class. I adapt lessons to each student’s learning style and encourage self-expression through improvisation and composition. My goal is to make learning piano inspiring and meaningful.

With 7 years of teaching and professional experience, I have dedicated my career to helping students discover the beauty and power of music through the piano. Teaching students from school to college levels, I focus on building a strong foundation while inspiring creativity and confidence in every learner. My lessons are designed to be interactive, encouraging students to express themselves and connect emotionally with the music they play. My passion for education comes from seeing the joy and progress of my students as they achieve their goals. Over the years, I’ve helped many students prepare for performances, exams, and even their first compositions. Throughout my journey, I’ve had the privilege to perform, collaborate, and teach in various settings, each experience enriching my approach to music education. I aim to make every class meaningful, blending structure with creativity. Whether you’re a beginner or an advanced player, my goal is to guide you towards musical excellence and make your learning experience both inspiring and rewarding.
