About Zyair
Hi! My name is Zyáir (everyone calls me Zee so don't worry about not pronouncing it right the first few times HAHA)! I'm a soft-spoken but clear communicator, passionate about guiding aspiring musicians on their journey to vocal and musical mastery. As a recording artist with firsthand experience in the music industry, I bring a wealth of knowledge to my teaching, including vocal production techniques and harmony work.
Having instructed students of all ages and backgrounds, I draw from a diverse teaching background that includes preschool, high school, and college-level instruction. My previous roles as a preschool teacher and college tutor (and my current role as a high school teacher and touring artist) have equipped me with the patience, creativity, and adaptability needed to tailor my lessons to each individual student's needs and learning style.
Beyond music, I have a wide range of hobbies and interests that keep me inspired and energized. From being a proud dog mom to indulging in singing, painting, and playing multiple instruments like guitar, violin, and saxophone, I find joy in creative expression. I'm also passionate about gymnastics, dance, and outdoor activities like hiking, as well as more laid-back pastimes like Madlibs, reading, storytelling, and indulging in a good horror movie.
In my teaching, I strive to instill not only musical proficiency but also a love for creativity and self-expression in my students. Whether you're a beginner taking your first steps into the world of music or a seasoned musician looking to refine your skills, I'm here to support and guide you every step of the way. Let's embark on this musical journey together!
