About Ariana
My teaching approach focuses on making piano learning clear, enjoyable, and grounded in real musical skills. I start by understanding each student’s goals, whether they want structured progress or simply want to enjoy playing their favorite songs. Lessons blend technique, theory, and creativity so students grow steadily without feeling overwhelmed. I teach essential skills like proper hand technique, sight-reading, and musical expression, while also adding topics such as chord voicing, rhythmic grooves, jazz improvisation, and playing by ear. These areas help students connect with music in a more flexible and expressive way. Students learn how chords work, how rhythms feel, and how to create their own musical ideas. For learners who need strong structure, I offer clear guidance, exam preparation, and step-by-step practice plans. For those learning for fun, I keep lessons relaxed and focus on songs they love, simple arrangements, and creative exploration.

I’m a piano teacher with over 9 years of experience and a Bachelor of Music in Piano Performance. I love helping people make music a natural part of their everyday life. My lessons are a friendly blend of solid technique and casual creativity, so the piano feels enjoyable, not overwhelming.
I work especially well with adult learners, late beginners, and anyone returning to the instrument after a long break. We explore music at a pace that feels comfortable and encouraging. I also love guiding students through personal song arrangements, simple accompaniment patterns, and ways to play their favorite tunes by ear.
My approach is warm, flexible, and supportive, with plenty of room for experimentation. Some days we focus on technique; other days we dive into the songs that inspire you. Both matter, and both help you grow.
