About Sloane
As a Piano tutor, my teaching methodology revolves around four core principles: Accountability, Problem-solving, Creativity, and Integrity. I believe in fostering a sense of responsibility in my students, encouraging them to set clear goals and take ownership of their progress. This accountability ensures consistent practice and growth.
Problem-solving is central to my approach, where I help students tackle technical challenges and musical complexities with confidence. I guide them through the process of finding solutions independently, which enhances their critical thinking and understanding of music.
Creativity is key in developing a well-rounded musician. I encourage students to explore various genres, improvisation, and composition, allowing them to express their unique musical voice while building a solid technical foundation.

Beyond Piano, I also offer lessons in music theory, ear training, and composition, using the same personalized, student-centered approach to ensure comprehensive learning.
