My singing approach for The Music Major and The Suzuki Student centers on preparing you thoroughly for auditions and building a versatile vocal portfolio. Matching vocal tone to each song’s style is key, as is mastering controlled dynamics to express emotion clearly. For The Music Major, I emphasize vocal agility exercises that enhance technical skill and flexibility, vital for tackling diverse genres confidently. The Suzuki Student benefits from focused breath control and pitch accuracy drills, strengthening foundational skills. Both personas engage in mock auditions to build confidence and reduce performance anxiety. To enrich your practice, I recommend using backing track apps for accompaniment, lyric trainers to perfect memorization, and pitch analyzers to ensure tuning precision. Exploring genre diversity expands your adaptability and keeps your repertoire fresh. This methodical yet creative approach prepares you not just to perform, but to shine with artistry and confidence.

With over 6 years of experience and a Bachelor of Contemporary Music (Voice Major), I specialize in coaching singers to reach their full potential. I work closely with students preparing for auditions, competitions, and stage performances, tailoring lessons to each individual’s goals. My teaching covers a wide range of styles including Classical, Broadway, Pop-Rock, and Music Theater.
I focus on essential skills such as diction, range development, vocal agility, and repertoire selection. Dramatic interpretation is a key part of my approach, helping students bring songs to life with emotion and authenticity. I have enjoyed working with school students, drama majors, and adult singers returning to music after a break.
Each lesson is designed to build strong technique while nurturing confident stage presence. I believe that every voice has its unique artistry waiting to be discovered and refined.
