About Jack
I'm a final year Computer Science student studying at UNSW, but this is definitely not what I thought I'd be studying all my life. I studied to become a veterinarian, but it took me three years to realise that I wasn't passionate about the career. I was grinding, and I needed to look elsewhere to find my passion. This led to my trying out a Python course, and I've been hooked ever since. As a result, I know exactly what it's like to learn programming from having never coded all the way up to where I am now; an incoming graduate developer for one of the biggest tech companies in the world.

My teaching style is all about a logical, approachable progression of ideas. New concepts in programming have varying levels of complexity, and the learning curve is not even close to linear. That means in order to teach it, I focus on drilling right down to what specific thing will help you understand the concept at hand. That's potentially a different explanation or analogy for each individual. Having helped a wide array of students learn programming before, I'm more than ready to work with you to figure out you can move forward with your coding.
