About Abbey
Hi! I am a Pre-Med student at UOW and have moved here for university. I've been a tutor for three years and have experience in teaching all levels of maths up to a year 10 level and General maths for year 11/12. I have had students in the past who have done exceptionally well and would love to continue tutoring.

My teaching methodology centres around building the confidence of the student with their academic work through the philosophy of "don't do it until you get it right, do it until you can't get it wrong."
This approach has helped me enormously in my own studies and has helped all of the students I have had in the past. The primary reason that students need additional external help with school work is that either the content wasn't covered properly in class or they haven't visited a concept in so long that they can no longer do it. Thus as a tutor I endeavour to cover all bases of the students schoolwork and revise them in order to ensure that they truly understand what they are learning.
