About Jamts
I'm a sixth form student with aspirations to study physics at university. Despite having little formal experience in tutoring, I have a strong academic background and a passion for helping others succeed. I always help my class mates when they're stuck on anything. My approach to tutoring is structured and comprehensive, designed to maximize the effectiveness of each 45-minute session.

My approach to tutoring: each lesson around 45 minutes
Introduction (5 mins): brief overview of the specification and what needs to be learned in the lesson.
Main learning section (10 mins): Detailed notes on the topic including explanations on everything needed to know. The explanations will help students clear up any misconceptions and/or relearn content that might have been forgotten.
Past exam questions (20 mins): I will let the students talk to me through exam questions on the topic and let them tackle the questions. (this helps them to remember what I taught them during the lesson). Then, I'll go over the mark scheme and explain - in detail - the types of answers are required in mark schemes. I will also try to answer one long-answer question (my approach to long-answer questions are similar to other shorter questions)
Consolidation and answering students questions (10mins): When the examquestions are done, I will do a little short explanation/recap of the topic covered. Any important notes I will have highlighted and repeated with significance. Then I'll answer any specific questions on the topic (from students)and if needed, repeat explanations in detail.
I have little experience in tutoring, however I am committed to high quality and engaging lessons. My focus on student interaction is what makes the memorization process simple but effective.
I can tutor GCSEs and A-Levels, so from ages 15 - 18.
