About Arman
I'm passionate about humanities, and after achieving top grades in my A-level exams, firmly believe that being curious and willing to explore new ideas is what separates exceptional candidates from the rest. As a tutor, I aim to cultivate students' broader understanding of the subjects they study at school, helping them handle compulsory content and examination formats with ease.

I have over a year's professional experience helping students achieve top grades in English and History. I also offer personalised feedback on humanity-based UCAS applications, helping students secure offers from top universities.
I do not believe in a 'one size fits all' approach when teaching the humanities. Instead, I examine students by assessing their individual strengths, encouraging them to submit their own essays so that I can suggest areas of improvement. By helping students perfect their essay-writing skills, they will develop a foundation that makes the application of subject content straightforward.
A typical session can be as short as one hour, with a focus on exam practice and application over standard content memorisation. My approach is best suited for students who intend to achieve top grades at GCSE and A-Level; I aim to develop the niche skills required to secure such results, rather than repeat general guidance often taught in schools.
For university applications, I aim to assess a student's wider interests to help them develop a portfolio of academic material suitable for the personal statement. I also help students apply this material to the three-question format now required for UCAS applications in 2027 and beyond.
