About Akshay
I am a Master of Computer Science student at the University of Sydney, specializing in Data Science, Artificial Intelligence, and Cybersecurity.
I have more than two years of tutoring experience, including teaching AP Computer Science Principles and AP Java. I currently tutor primary and high school students in mathematics, science, chemistry, and computer science.
I enjoy breaking difficult topics into simple, manageable steps and helping students become more confident in their abilities. I am patient, approachable, and comfortable adapting lessons for different ages, learning styles, and academic levels.
Alongside tutoring, I am passionate about technology, coding, problem solving, and continuous learning. My aim is to create a supportive environment where students feel comfortable asking questions and learning from mistakes.

My lessons are interactive, practical, and adapted to each student’s level and learning style. I use simple explanations, guided exercises, real-life examples, and small educational games to make difficult concepts easier to understand.
For younger students, I include short activities and in-person games to keep lessons engaging and help them stay focused. For older students, I combine clear theory with structured practice, exam-style questions, and step-by-step problem solving.
My goal is not just to help students complete their homework, but to build their confidence and make sure they genuinely understand the concept. I encourage students to ask questions, learn from mistakes, and develop a method they can use independently.
