About Arshan — Math Tutor
Hi! I’m Arshan, a Civil Engineering student and former valedictorian with several academic certificates recognizing my excellence in math and science. My goal as a tutor is simple — to help every student truly understand math, not just memorize it.
My Teaching Methodology
I focus on breaking down complex problems into clear, logical steps. I believe that every student can succeed in math once they understand the “why” behind each concept. During lessons, I use examples connected to real-life and engineering situations so students can see how math applies beyond the classroom.
A Typical Lesson
Each session starts with a quick review of previous material, followed by a short explanation of a new concept. Then, we practice together — starting with guided examples and moving toward independent problem-solving. I always encourage students to explain their reasoning so I can identify gaps and strengthen their understanding.
What Sets Me Apart
As a valedictorian and engineering student, I bring both academic excellence and practical experience. I’m patient, organized, and I adapt my teaching style to each student’s learning speed. I also focus on building confidence, helping students see math not as something to fear, but as a skill they can master.
