I have tutored math privately for many years but would like to tutor through an organization now like Superprof to continue to build my reputation. I have continually tested in the top 99% percentile on the Iowa Assessments since they have started to assess students with that standardized test, and up through high school into the AP Calculus and AP Statistics courses, I have taken all of these and have not met a single one that I couldn't earn an A in. AP Exams is something else I can help with, having also been an AP Scholar with Honor, including one of those scores being a 5 on the AP Exam in Statistics. I also used to compete in math and have won in some competitions, as well as win many chess tournaments in my career. I have been as high as #14 in the world on chess.com in the rapid format at one time out of more than 215,000,000 players on that particular website. I believe that if you give me a chance, I can find how to guide you to achieving your own greatness.

About the lesson

Mathematics and science have been passions of mine as far back as I can remember. Since at least elementary school I have been fascinated by it, and growing up, I always was more advanced and tested higher on it than my peers. There are many achievements that I have in math growing up that I am proud of, and I hope that I can share that knowledge to make a difference in someone else. I believe that I can teach any student to improve at math since it is very methodical and logical if we put the quality time into understanding it. I prefer taking a particular concept and teaching it out of the book or explaining it on a whiteboard, and believe learning how to read an academic work like a textbook well will be useful for anyone. My lessons could be for anyone, like in grade school, an AP Calculus student, or even some undergraduate math or science students. Also I have reached US Chess Expert and Arena FIDE Master (AFM) level for any novice chess players who would like to improve their game.
