About Lincoln

I am a gigging jazz guitarist based in Melbourne, recently graduating my Music degree from VCA in Jazz and Improvisation. I've been teaching guitar privately for over 5 years now. I have my Masters of applied learning and teaching at Deakin University and have taught music and guitar at a number of High Schools. Along with this teaching experience, I'm very interested in the memory, minoring in psychology. This knowledge really informs my teaching to try and most effectively aid progression in a fun and engaging way. I also have experience teaching VCE music and VET music classes for younger students looking to prepare for senior school music.

About the lesson

With my extensive knowledge and expertise in jazz guitar, I am committed to helping you develop your skills and unlock your full potential as a guitarist. Whether you are a beginner, intermediate or advanced player looking to dive deeper into the instrument whether its improvising, theory or jazz methodology, I tailor my lessons to suit your individual needs and goals. Lessons are student centred- working on things that you are interested in. Whether your goal is to perform on stage, jam with fellow musicians, or simply enjoy playing guitar as a hobby, I will provide you with the tools and guidance to achieve your goals.
