About Yi Jie
About Me Hi, I’m Yi Jie! I’m a passionate language learner and experienced tutor. Unlike native speakers who grew up with Japanese, I learned the language step by step just like you. That means I understand the struggles students face — whether it’s tricky grammar, remembering kanji, or preparing for VCE oral exams. Because I’ve worked through these challenges myself, I can explain things in a way that makes sense to learners. Why Learn With Me? I’m not a native — and that’s an advantage! I understand exactly what’s confusing for learners and how to explain it clearly in English. Strong grasp of the VCE system: I know what examiners look for and can help you prepare with confidence. 3+ years tutoring experience (math + languages) with proven ability to simplify complex topics.
