About Ana

I am a PhD Candidate in Geology at UH only writing my thesis. I was born in Venezuela and I moved to Houston in 2016. I enjoy dancing, outdoor activities, doing exercises, yoga, and meditation. I have more than 10 years of experience teaching at different levels from elementary to college.

About the lesson

I have a flexible and adaptable style of teaching. I have been teaching sciences for more than 10 years. Although I recently started teaching Spanish, my 2 students saw progress in a very short time, between 6 to 8 months based on the number of classes and dedication. I studied English as a Second Language, so I am fully aware of the most effective techniques to teach a language. We will design the course based on your needs and interests.

I highly recommend Ana as a teacher and trainer. I've known her for eight years and she's got all the makings of a fantastic teacher. She's patient as a saint. I've seen her handle all sorts of situations with such calmness; it's like nothing fazes her. Plus, she's just naturally kind. You can always count on her for a smile and some encouragement. And when it comes to explaining stuff, Ana's got it down pat. Her communication is crystal clear, which is a real plus when you're trying to learn something new.
