About Ivy
I am a passionate Piano tutor with over 10 years of teaching experience. I teach School students, College students, and working professionals who want to learn piano at their own pace in a structured and enjoyable way.
My teaching approach is practical and supportive. I focus on developing finger technique, rhythm, hand coordination, and musical understanding. Lessons are designed to ensure steady progress while keeping learning stress-free and fun.
I teach classical piano foundations, modern piano styles, chords, scales, arpeggios, and accompaniment techniques. I also guide students in music theory, sight reading, ear training, and daily practice routines. I support students preparing for exams, recitals, and personal goals.
What makes my teaching unique is my calm, patient, and friendly style. I make learning motivating and enjoyable. My goal is to help students grow musically and gain confidence.

My piano teaching methodology is built on communication, accountability, and integrity. I focus on clear communication to help students understand musical concepts fully and feel confident in lessons.
Accountability ensures students follow structured practice routines, set achievable goals, and monitor progress for steady improvement. I teach with integrity, providing honest feedback, recognising achievements sincerely, and guiding students through challenges with patience.
Lessons are adapted to each student’s level, pace, and musical interests. In addition to piano, I teach music theory, sight-reading, rhythm exercises, and performance skills, helping students become skilled, confident, and passionate musicians.
