About Grace
I am a dedicated piano tutor with four 8 years of teaching experience and a passion for inspiring students of all ages. I have taught between 150 and 200 learners, including high school and college students, as well as elderly adults who enjoy music as a relaxing and meaningful hobby. My milestone moments include helping students overcome stage fright, prepare for auditions, and complete their first full songs with confidence.
I believe that learning music should feel enjoyable and welcoming, not stressful or confusing. That’s why I use simple instructions, patient guidance, and personalised lessons. My goal is to help every student understand the piano step by step and discover the joy that comes from making progress. I find great happiness in seeing students grow, not only in skill but also in self-confidence, creativity, and love for music.

My teaching style focuses on practical learning supported by real-life examples. I use simple case studies to show how musical ideas appear in everyday situations. This helps students understand not just what to play, but why it matters. Motivation plays a big role in my lessons. I help students develop healthy practice habits and a positive mindset. With encouragement and clear goals, students stay focused and feel proud of their progress. Problem-solving helps students grow into independent learners.
When something feels difficult, we look at the cause—timing, fingering, reading, or technique—and build a plan to solve it. This gives students confidence to handle new pieces on their own. Integrity and flexibility guide me. I give honest, helpful feedback while adjusting my teaching style to match each student. I also teach related subjects such as theory, ear training, and musical creativity with the same comfortable and practical method.
