About James
I'm a professional session musician/performer/writer/tutor who has taught for over 10 years as well as studied teaching. I have a BA Honours in music, Grade 8 classical guitar. I play with bands all over the country and write my own progressive rock music.

Hi, I am a professional, performing, session musician, trained in classical and contemporary guitar. I've had a 100% success rate of students passing Grade 8 classical guitar, as well as teaching/being a musical guide to semi-pro musicians in order to help achieve their music career goals. My emphasis in lessons is always to have fun, but also to very efficiently guide the students to their goals.

Fantastic guitarist and brilliant teacher. Knows classical and jazz theory inside out but also how to use it creatively and his improvisation skills are second to none. Had lots of teachers over the years but James is by far the best.
