About Verdiana
During College, I have given tutoring lessons to students who were essentially at the same level as mine. I mostly started with the main class topics and then usually went on with the analysis of further information that can be found in the subjects we were studying.
The students I tutored in the past, predominantly needed assistance to understand, analyse and translate some Greek and Latin works and I have always been eager to share my knowledge and experience in the field with them.
I have mainly tutored in languages (English, Italian and some German), so if you need any help in writing or fixing/editing an essay, don't hesitate to ask me! I really cherish doing creative activities, in fact my favourite hobbies are sports, writing blogs, drawing and singing.
My background in the study of classical languages like Greek and Latin is very solid, and it mostly involved the analysis and translation of ancient texts, along with the study of numerous types of literature (German; Italian; English).
My experience in the classics has definitely changed my point of view and brought me to a new level of understanding of the modern ways of communication. As a consequence, I have applied various of my skills on the making of new and creative content, especially in the form of blogs or visual arts. The key to constant improvement is not only outlined by extreme and incessant effort, but also by amusement and comfort!

I generally tend to prepare some materials before the lesson, in order to help the student examine more than only one source, and then I proceed with the interpretation of the text or exercise given, which will then lead to a new and approachable way of studying.
New, in what sense? My intention is not to solely research about a specific topic, but also to find other and alternative ways in which a concept can be memorized and learned. I will help you make the subject yours; in that way, learning will seem way easier.
Don't expect to have much homework to do. My teaching will be mostly based on what we manage to learn during the lesson, so I will need you to focus then!
