About Matt

I have always had a passion for languages. This stemmed from growing up bilingually and since then my career has always had an international flavour. Graduating from Leeds University in German and Italian, I have also lived and worked in these great countries. I therefore have an insight into language acquisition as well as language as a part of culture. I hope to inspire others to learn language and it gives me great satisfaction to see my students progress.

About the lesson

DELTA qualified, I can help you achieve your individual goals. I get a real buzz from seeing my students progress. In the first class I will conduct a thorough needs assessment which then helps me tailor the topics to your interests. I find this makes lessons more engaging. Whether you are looking to improve your language for communication; pass a particular test e.g. IELTS or have a specific purpose in mind such as for work or pleasure, I can help! With approximately 25 years of teaching experience, I have taught at universities, independent schools, in the UK as well as abroad. I can teach you either online, at my house or at your house. Whatever suits you!
