About Dorothy
I have a degree in Education, majoring in Swahili and History. I am currently pursuing a master's in Education. I have taught Swahili full time to high school students for over a decade. I have a very good success rate with students here on Superprof. I have taught students on this platform and I feel so proud seeing them actually write emails to me in Swahili or having conversations in Swahili. I love what I do, and I'm glad I get to do it. I get the work done.

What sets me apart as a tutor is that I have this ability to treat each of my students like the only students I have. I give maximum attention, I am effective, thorough and customize my lessons to suit each learners needs. I love what I do and I'm glad I do it.
My Swahili is the standard Swahili spoken in all Swahili spoken countries. So, I guarantee you, it doesn't matter where you want to speak it, it will still be effective and appropriate Swahili.
I have taught students from ages 74 all the way to 9 years being the youngest so far.
My students have described me as Knowledgeable, enthusiastic, patient, nice, attentive and experienced.
