About Alyeen
I homeschooled my 6 children and several other children as well as tutored children for the last 35 years. I enjoy the challenge of finding new ways to teach concepts and find great joy when I see the light bulbs of understanding light up a child's eyes. I believe that basic, elementary academics are crucial to a child's long-term academic success. My children have grown up, some have gone to college, some have become entrepreneurs. They all love learning new things and have joined the adventure of homeschooling their own children.

Using pictures, flashcards, word games and miniature toys helps bring phonics to life and brings variety to the study session.
