High School Mathematics Teacher (Bilingual – English & Spanish)
As a dedicated high school mathematics teacher in an underserved, predominantly Spanish-speaking community, I designed and delivered engaging lessons that made complex mathematical concepts accessible to a diverse group of learners. My role went beyond teaching formulas; I worked to close academic gaps, foster a growth mindset, and create an inclusive environment where students could succeed regardless of their background or language proficiency.
Key Responsibilities
Curriculum Design & Instruction: Developed and implemented lesson plans for Algebra, Geometry, Trigonometry, Pre-Calculus, and Calculus tailored to students’ varied learning levels and language needs.
Bilingual Education: Taught in both English and Spanish, adapting instructional strategies to support English Language Learners (ELL) and ensure equitable access to content.
