About Lauren
I am a certified educator with a strong background in elementary education and a passion for helping students build confidence and skill in English at every stage of learning. I currently specialize in foundational language development, early literacy, and creating structured, supportive learning environments.
With real classroom experience in diverse and high-need settings, I bring both practical strategies and a deep understanding of how students learn. My goal is not only to improve grades, but to help each student develop lasting skills in reading, writing, and communication.

I provide individualized English tutoring for students ranging from preschool through college, adapting my approach to meet each learner’s needs. For younger students, I focus on phonics, reading readiness, vocabulary building, and comprehension through engaging, age-appropriate activities. For older students, I support reading comprehension, writing skills, grammar, essay development, and academic confidence.
My teaching style is patient, structured, and encouraging. I am especially skilled at working with students who need extra support, including those who may struggle with focus, confidence, or foundational skills. I break down complex concepts into manageable steps and create a learning environment where students feel comfortable asking questions and making progress at their own pace.
