About Corliss
Hello! I am Corliss. I am a first-year Veterinary Medicine student at Adelaide University and a 2025 graduate of Glenunga International High School, where I completed the IB Diploma Programme and achieved a final ATAR of 98.70. I am also currently a tutor at Glenunga International High School tutoring various IB subjects and I also have experience tutoring the Casper test.

Having recently experienced the competitive healthcare admissions process myself, I understand the challenges and preparation required to successfully apply for Veterinary Medicine and Medical programs.
I achieved the highest possible quartile (4th) in the Casper test and have developed a strong understanding of the skills needed to perform well, including effective communication, ethical reasoning, situational judgment, and structured response techniques.

As a Veterinary Medicine student and 4th Quartile (highest) Casper scorer, I provide personalized Casper tutoring for students applying to Veterinary Medicine, Medicine and other healthcare courses.
What is the Casper test and who takes it?
The Casper test is a university admission test required by all Veterinary Medicine schools across Australia, and is also used by some Medical schools in Canada and other countries. It is a situational judgment test assessing applicants' personal qualities and competency as a future health professional.
My teaching approach focuses on developing the core skills required to succeed in the Casper test, including structured response frameworks, effective time management, situational judgment, ethical reasoning, and demonstrating key competencies such as empathy, communication, professionalism, and awareness.
Each lesson is tailored to the student's individual strengths and areas for improvement. I teach students how to approach different Casper question types, including scenario-based and personal questions, while helping them identify key values tested and incorporate keywords naturally into their responses.
Lessons involve teaching of frameworks, guided practice, timed exercises, detailed breakdowns of responses, and constructive feedback to help students continuously improve their reasoning and communication skills. Lessons are personalized and structured around the student's goals and preparation timeline.
Beyond lesson time, I provide detailed feedback and suggestions to help students refine their answers and develop stronger Casper responses.
