About Juliana
I am a violin tutor with 9 years of experience and a Doctor of Philosophy in Music Performance. I enjoy helping students develop strong musical foundations while encouraging creativity and personal expression through every lesson.
My teaching approach is supportive, flexible, and carefully planned for each learner. I believe students improve best when they understand both the technical and artistic sides of violin playing.
Outside teaching, I enjoy performing classical works, mentoring young musicians, and studying historical violin repertoire. These experiences help me bring depth, inspiration, and practical knowledge into every lesson.

My violin lessons create a comfortable learning environment where students build technique through enjoyable and consistent practice. We study posture, bowing, finger accuracy, rhythm, intonation, tone production, scales, and expressive phrasing using simple explanations and carefully planned exercises. Every lesson helps students grow with confidence and musical understanding.
As learners advance, we work on shifting, vibrato, sight reading, performance preparation, interpretation, and effective practice methods. I also introduce relaxation techniques, mental rehearsal, and performance strategies that help students play with greater confidence and control.
My goal is to help students become expressive violinists who enjoy performing with confidence and precision. Every lesson develops technical excellence, musical creativity, and a genuine appreciation for violin performance.
