About Kira
Hello! I'm an experienced violinist. I've taken private lessons up until college, where I played in chamber + symphony orchestra. I also minored in music and know music theory very well. I am determined to help anyone who is looking to either start playing the violin or improve from a beginner level.

I will start with a free lesson where we can discuss your goals and figure out what level you are at to see if I am the right fit for you.
If you are new to reading music, I think it is helpful to teach basic music theory first, then learn to play the scales. If you have experience with other instruments, that gives you a head start. Anyone with experience with the violin, I'd like to hear you play something you know so I can see what level you are.
