About Saaqib
I am a 43-year-old visually impaired person from Abbottabad, Pakistan, and hold an MPhil degree in Mathematics from the National University of Sciences & Technology (NUST), Islamabad, Pakistan. My MPhil specialisation was in metric fixed point theory, more precisely in finding fixed point theorems under the same kind of contractive conditions as the Banach contraction principle.
I have been teaching undergraduate mathematics at a mainstream government college since August 2006 and am Assistant Professor now.
Last but not least, I also possess qualifications in braille, IT, and the English language from the Hadley Institute for the Blind and Visually Impaired, USA. In October 2018, I also completed with 97% score over all the MIT EdX course Introduction to Computer Science & Programming Using Python.

In my teaching, I use world-renowned textbooks such as Calculus (volumes 1 & 2) by Tom M. Apostol, Principles of Mathematical Analysis by Walter Rudin, and Topology by James R. Munkres. I try to explain the concepts covered in these texts using some very original notation and methodology, maintaining the rigor and depth at which the authors cover the topics.
I am very methodical in my approach to teaching and try to be as thorough in my explanations of the concepts to be taught as the student needs in order for him or her to gain a full comprehension.
