About Grace

After graduating from VMI with a Biology degree and a concentration in Biochemistry and Molecular Biology, I started working in cancer genomic sequencing. I spent 5+ years in this industry, spending a lot of my time working with other professionals to ensure that they understood the underlying concepts which were underpinning our work there in the biotech sector. It was here that I realized how passionate I was about helping others.

I would love to explore how I could help you enrich your appreciation of biology! It's a fascinating subject that I promise doesn't have to be overwhelming or intimidating.

About the lesson

I focus on what my students individually need, and tailor my tutoring style around those needs. To me, it's imperative that my students get the most out of their sessions, so I do my best to ensure that we are working towards your goals, the way that is going to help you the most.

I've worked with high school level students who were preparing for college entrance exams, I've also worked with professional adults who were already in the working field who just needed a deeper and richer understanding of biological concepts relevant to their work. Wherever you are, I'd love to help you achieve your goals in biology or other associated fields.
