About Lucila

I am a professional singer and certified Vocal Coach with training in contemporary vocal technique, musical theater, and voice pedagogy. My studies include Modern Vocal Training (MVT) and LVC, with a strong foundation in Speech Level Singing (SLS) methodology as part of my vocal training. My own journey as a singer has shaped the way I teach. I used to believe that singing was something you were either naturally good at or simply weren’t. When I started taking musical theater classes, I discovered that my voice could actually develop—and that changed the way I saw singing completely. From that moment on, I began studying seriously and working with different vocal teachers, gradually building both my technique and my confidence. Today, I am a professional singer with experience performing with rock bands, in bars and theaters, as well as releasing my own original music. This combination of professional performance experience and vocal training allows me to approach teaching from both a technical and artistic perspective. I believe that every voice has its own potential. Good technique is not about changing who you are as a singer, but about giving you the tools to use your voice with greater freedom, control, and confidence. My goal is to help you understand your voice, develop it in a healthy way, and discover what makes your sound uniquely yours. Whether you are just starting out, already have some experience, or simply want to feel more comfortable and confident when you sing, I would love to help you develop your voice and enjoy the process along the way.

About the lesson

My lessons are engaging, enjoyable, and personalized. They are designed to help you discover what your voice is truly capable of. We begin by getting to know your voice, your experience, and your goals. From there, I assess what your voice needs and select exercises that will help you develop the coordination, control, and vocal habits necessary for your progress. I believe good vocal training starts with understanding what your voice actually needs. Your goals are important, but so is developing the technical foundation that will allow you to reach them. Depending on your voice and stage of development, we may work on areas such as breathing, pitch, vocal coordination, range, tone, vocal transitions, or developing a more consistent and balanced sound. We then bring these skills into actual singing, applying them to songs and repertoire. We can work on interpretation, phrasing, musical expression, and performance skills as they become relevant to your development. I like to keep lessons interactive and easy to understand. Rather than simply giving you exercises to repeat, I explain what we are doing and help you recognize what is happening in your own voice. Whether you are learning to sing from scratch, looking to strengthen your technique, expand your range, prepare a song, or become a more confident performer, we will work step by step and build on your progress. My goal is for you to leave each lesson with something you can actually feel, understand, and apply—and with a greater sense of freedom when you sing.
