About Reid
I am a singing tutor with 6 years of experience and a B.F.A in Vocal Arts along with an M.Mus in Voice Performance. I specialize in guiding students through technical development, expressive interpretation, and performance preparation. I teach beginners building foundational skills, intermediate learners refining musicality, and advanced students preparing for auditions, concerts, or recitals. Lessons integrate technique, repertoire, performance coaching, and interpretive guidance. My approach adapts to each learner’s goals and abilities. Beginners focus on breath support and pitch. Intermediate learners refine phrasing, dynamics, and expression. Advanced learners prepare repertoire, performance strategies, and audition readiness. Feedback is constructive, ongoing, and supportive. Lessons combine technical development with expressive exploration to foster skill and confidence. Outside teaching, I perform, mentor, and explore vocal repertoire across multiple genres. Teaching singing allows me to watch learners grow technically, musically, and personally. My mission is to nurture expressive, confident, and skilled vocalists capable of enjoying and sharing their music.
