About Harper
I developed a passion for singing early, inspired by the expressive potential of the human voice. I earned a B.Mus in Vocal Performance and have been teaching for 8 years, guiding students in developing technique, musicality, and performance confidence. My approach emphasises patience, encouragement, and individualised instruction. I focus on blending technical instruction with creative exploration. Lessons include exercises, repertoire practice, and feedback tailored to each learner. I encourage students to experiment with their voice, fostering confidence, skill, and artistic growth. Lessons are interactive, supportive, and motivating. Outside teaching, I perform regularly, explore new repertoire, and attend workshops to refine my skills. Incorporating real-world experience helps students connect lessons to performance practice. Witnessing learners develop vocal mastery and expressive confidence is profoundly rewarding and inspires my teaching continuously.

Singing lessons are most effective when students integrate technical mastery with expressive artistry. I focus on breath support, tone quality, pitch accuracy, phrasing, diction, and interpretation. Lessons are structured to gradually improve skill and confidence while nurturing creativity and a love for music. Beginners learn posture, breathing exercises, basic scales, and simple songs to establish a strong foundation. Intermediate learners refine dynamics, phrasing, vocal range, and stylistic nuance. Advanced students focus on performance techniques, expressive interpretation, stage presence, and repertoire mastery. Each session includes exercises, demonstration, and constructive feedback to ensure steady progress. Studying singing strengthens focus, discipline, emotional expression, and self-confidence. Students gain satisfaction as they develop technical skill and learn to communicate musical ideas authentically. My goal is to foster lessons that are engaging, motivating, and tailored to each student’s goals, helping them cultivate both technique and lasting passion for music.
