About Trevor
Well, the microphone is waiting for you to find that hidden resonance. Having taught 181 students over 6 years, I find that technical precision is the key to artistic freedom.
My degree from Humber College informs how I approach pitch control and genre styling. Belting technique and diction must feel natural to you.
I focus on rhythm and phrasing to make sure your performance sounds authentic to your own ears. Sight singing provides the foundation for everything else. I just want to make sure you enjoy the process of finding your sound.

A resonant belt starts deep in your chest and travels up through your throat. My background in contemporary music allows me to guide you through sight singing and pitch control with ease. We use tailored warm up exercises to prepare your voice for any style from musical theatre to pop. Diagnostic vocal assessment for every new student is a core part of our initial meeting.
