About Laura
I remember the exact moment my own voice teacher explained how resonance works in the mask of the face. That clarity shaped my 7 years of teaching experience. I currently teach students ranging from Grade 3 newcomers to adults finding their footing in Canada.
My BFA Music Performance and TESOL degree gives me a unique perspective on the intersection of language and sound. I have helped 153 students master head and chest voice, pitch control, and vibrato control. My work involves specific attention to vocal health and care for those who sing professionally or for exams.
It is a joy to guide someone toward a healthy, ringing tone. My teaching style is supportive and energetic. I try to make sure every student feels capable and heard.

You do not need perfect pitch to start your vocal journey. A diagnostic vocal assessment for every new student is the first step we take together.
We analyze your current abilities in sight singing, tone, and resonance. My 7 years of experience inform the way I structure our sessions for intermediate learners and grade exam candidates. We treat the voice as an instrument that requires proper maintenance.
I apply my Concordia University training to every drill. We work on precise pitch control and vocal health. Efficiency is the key to vocal longevity. I am here to help you sing with complete freedom.
