About Sylvie
While I don’t have formal teaching experience, my background in music, performance, and vocal training has given me a deep understanding of voice technique and development. I hold a BA in Popular Music from Goldsmiths, University of London, where I specialized in vocal performance and training. Throughout my career, I’ve worked extensively as a singer and performer, both as a solo artist and in bands, giving me firsthand experience in live performance, vocal endurance, and stylistic versatility. Additionally, my acting background has provided me with a strong foundation in breath control, projection, and vocal techniques that are essential for both singers and performers. I’ve also had years of private vocal coaching, where I learned various methodologies to strengthen, maintain, and develop vocal ability. Beyond my own training, I have experience working with small children in creative settings, which has helped me develop a patient and encouraging teaching approach. My goal as a vocal coach is to help students build confidence, improve technique, and develop a sustainable, healthy singing voice tailored to their unique style.

Hi! I’m Sylvie, a singer and vocal coach based in LA. I’ve been singing since the age of four, and music has always been a central part of my life. As a vocalist, I understand the importance of proper technique, vocal health, and consistent training to keep your voice in top shape. My goal is to help singers build confidence, expand their range, and develop strong, sustainable vocal habits. Whether you’re a beginner or an experienced performer, I’ll work with you to create a customized approach that fits your voice and goals. Let’s make music together!
