About Sue

- What kind of experience do you have?

I have many years experience of voice training. In the past I have run a successful speech and drama school, I still teach speech and drama at Sir William Perkins School for Girls, also I coach people from all types of background. My clients have included individuals, institutions and businesses from across the UK and Europe. I enjoy sharing my skills and knowledge and continue to learn from my students as well. No two students are the same and all are taught in a way that suits them.

About the lesson

I help people who are feeling stressed, life is getting on top of them, always running late. I encourage them to refocus, feel more grounded and more mindful of their breathing and this in turn enables them to enjoy their life.

- Which subject(s) do you teach?

Breathing Easy - Sessions encourage clients to breathe fully and deeply and create positive energy and a feeling of well-being. I help them find solutions to ingrained habits/limiting beliefs which have evolved over the years and how a change in breathing patterns can clear these behaviours.

Vocal Production – understanding how your voice works and how to use it so you have the confidence to speak and be heard. Speaking with clarity and ensure your voice is heard using your words.

- Tell me about your qualifications.

I trained through the London Academy of Music and Dramatic Art and gained my LLAM (Distinction).

- How much do you charge?

Standard rates for individuals are £35 per hour. Discounts are given for group sessions. Corporate rates for in-house training are negotiable - fees normally £100 per day per person. Travel expenses will be claimed if required to travel to private venues.

A discount of £25.00 is given if paid for in advanced of block groups.
5 lessons @ £35 = £175 less £25.00

Skype: Sessions are charged at £35 per hour.
Again a discount of £25 is given if paid for in advance of block booking for 5 lessons.

- Where do you teach?

I teach from home and at client's offices or homes by arrangement.

I also teach using SKYPE. This is particularly useful for overseas clients or those unable to travel a long distance for tuition.

- When are you available?

Monday to Friday.

- Which ages and levels do you teach?

I am very happy to teach a wide variety of students from 15 years upwards. All abilities are catered for.

- Describe your arrangements for online tutoring.

I tutor using SKYPE.

- Do you have a personal message for students?

I love helping students achieve their goals of wanting to be able to breathe more easily to release stress, or want to increase their vocal projection or suffer from asthma and need help to improve the fitness of their lungs.
