About Peta

With 8 years of experience in singing and teaching, I am committed to helping students develop strong vocal skills and confidence. I teach singing to school and college students who want to improve their voice, learn proper singing techniques, or prepare for performances. My teaching journey has allowed me to guide many students from beginner level to confident performers.

In my classes, I focus on building strong fundamentals such as breathing control, vocal tone, pitch accuracy, and rhythm. I believe that learning singing should be both disciplined and enjoyable, so I always try to create a comfortable learning environment.

Over the years, several of my students have successfully performed in school functions, competitions, and cultural programmes, which has been a proud moment in my career. I also encourage creativity and musical expression so students can develop their own singing style. My teaching approach is supportive and motivating, and I work closely with students to help them overcome stage fear and build confidence. For me, teaching singing is more than just giving lessons; it is about inspiring students to believe in their voice and enjoy the beauty of music.

About the lesson

My singing teaching methodology combines flexibility, creativity, understanding, and strong time management to provide students with a structured yet inspiring learning experience. I believe that confidence and technical skill grow together, so I focus on both vocal technique and musical expression.

Lessons begin with vocal warm-ups and breathing exercises to prepare the voice and prevent strain. Students then practise pitch accuracy, tone development, articulation, and song interpretation.

Creativity is a central part of my lessons because singing is an expressive art. I encourage students to explore different genres, experiment with songs, and interpret lyrics in their own way. I also take time to understand each student’s challenges and learning pace to provide personalised guidance. Effective time management ensures each lesson covers technical exercises, song practice, and performance coaching.

Additionally, I teach rhythm, music theory basics, and stage confidence to help students become well-rounded performers.
