About Seymour

Do you ever wonder why some singers navigate complex vocal transitions with such ease? I hold a Bachelor of Fine Arts in Musical Theatre from the University of Oklahoma and have 11 years of experience behind me. My practice focuses on VOCAL HEALTH AND CARE, working alongside speech-language pathologists to rebuild voices after nodules or strain.

I prefer hearing a wrong answer out loud to silence. My background covers everything from sight singing and tone resonance to microphone technique and vibrato control. Whether you learn fast or prefer the scenic route, I adjust my approach to suit your individual needs. I am comfortable with students preparing for exams or refining head and chest voice mechanics.

About the lesson

Trying to force a high note often destroys the very sound you are working to create. My method prioritizes physiological efficiency to ensure your instrument remains safe throughout your training.

With 11 years of experience, I incorporate specific warm up exercises that stabilize the cords before we begin intense work. My degree from the University of Oklahoma informs how I structure the physical demands of singing.

Students gain free access to my breathing and warm up exercise notes to guide them between meetings. I keep my plans flexible, abandoning the script if we discover a more effective path during our time together. I will help you find your true voice.
