Have you ever wondered why certain notes feel trapped in your throat while others ring out with total clarity? I begin by conducting a diagnostic vocal assessment for every new student to map your unique anatomy. We then address sight singing and pitch control through specific, actionable drills. Whether you are prepping for grade exams or preparing for a studio date, we prioritize vocal health and care above everything. My experience as a JMC Academy graduate means I provide a high level of technical rigor. Sometimes we focus heavily on the mechanics of breath and resonance. Other times we look at the emotional coloring of a phrase to improve your overall delivery. This balance helps you maintain stamina during long sets. Singing represents the most vulnerable way to communicate, which is why I keep my studio space grounded. I still remember the first time I felt the resonance of a chacarera rhythm vibrating in my own chest. Those roots form the backbone of how I teach technique to my 465 students. Working professionals often come to me needing to refine their vibrato control or expand their head voice. I have spent 13 years as a session musician, which means I understand the demands of a working career. My Diploma of Music ensures that every exercise has a physiological basis. It is quite a journey to help someone find their true tone after years of improper habits. I genuinely enjoy watching that lightbulb moment happen during a difficult passage. My own practice remains a daily commitment, just like yours.
