About Rosalind
I have over 6 years of experience as a singing tutor and hold a Doctor of Musical Arts (DMA) in Vocal Performance. I specialize in working with adult beginners, hobbyists, and those returning to singing after a break. Whether you’re singing in community choirs, enjoying karaoke, or singing casually with friends, I create a low-pressure and encouraging space where learning feels fun and comfortable. My teaching focuses on breathwork, vocal relaxation, posture, and mindfulness in music to help develop a healthy, beautiful tone. I work with students across genres like Jazz, Folk, Blues, and Contemporary Adult, tailoring lessons to each person’s interests and goals. I’m passionate about helping people discover singing as a form of self-care, creativity, and confidence. Together, we’ll build your vocal skills step-by-step while keeping the joy of singing alive. No matter your age or experience level, it’s never too late to start or restart your singing journey. If you want to sing with ease and enjoy every moment, I’m here to support you. This teaching approach focuses on building strong skills for choral singing and ensemble work. Lessons cover vocal blending, sight-reading for choirs, and part-singing to help students perform harmoniously with others. The goal is to foster teamwork and a unified sound within the group.
