About Barbra
Hello! My name is Barbra, and I am an experienced language teacher, translator and communication professional with over 10 years of experience. I teach **English, Portuguese and French**, and I enjoy helping students develop their language skills and confidence.
I am passionate about teaching because I love seeing students make progress and become more comfortable communicating in a new language. I believe learning should be enjoyable, practical and adapted to each student's individual needs.
In my lessons, I create a friendly and supportive environment where students feel comfortable practising, asking questions and learning from their mistakes. I look forward to helping you achieve your language goals and making your learning journey enjoyable and rewarding!

I use a **student-centred, communicative and practical approach**, tailoring lessons to each learner’s level, goals and learning style. With over 20 years of teaching and language experience, I create a friendly environment where students can practise confidently and improve naturally.
I teach **English, Portuguese and French**, offering lessons in conversation, grammar, vocabulary, pronunciation, reading, writing and listening. I also provide **English for beginners, workplace English, interview preparation and TOEFL support**.
Students can expect interactive lessons using real-life situations, guided conversation, practical exercises and constructive feedback. My lessons are suitable for **beginners to advanced learners, including adults, young learners, professionals and exam candidates**.
