About Mark
I'm a British English teacher with many years of experience and a background as a Senior Director in Digital Marketing in the IT sector. I teach students of all levels—from beginners to advanced—and tailor each lesson to individual goals and learning styles.
My teaching method is based on the communicative approach, with a strong focus on speaking, listening, and real-life language use. Lessons are dynamic, structured, and practical, helping students build both confidence and fluency. A typical lesson includes a review of previous material, the introduction of new vocabulary or grammar in context, followed by interactive exercises and conversation practice.

My teaching approach is flexible, communicative, and goal-oriented. I use methods based on the communicative approach, with a strong focus on conversation, practical vocabulary, and real-life language use. I balance structured activities with spontaneous dialogue to help students develop comprehension, fluency, and confidence.
A typical lesson begins with a brief review of the previous session, followed by the introduction of a new topic using clear, practical examples. We then move into interactive exercises (listening, reading, speaking, or writing), often linked to everyday or professional situations. Each lesson ends with a summary and, if requested, tailored homework.
I am British and have lived overseas for many years, currently learning Italian myself. This helps me relate directly to the challenges students face when learning a new language, and I bring empathy and insight into the learning process.
I adapt my lessons to meet the individual needs and goals of each student. I work with learners of all levels (from A1 to C2), including both adults and teenagers. I have experience teaching professionals who want to improve their business English, as well as beginners looking to build a solid foundation.
My aim is to make each lesson useful, engaging, and motivating, offering practical learning that students can apply immediately.
