About Gabriela

Hi, my name is Gabriela Sampel! I am originally from Monterrey, Nuevo León from the north of Mexico. I moved to the United States with my mom at the age of 7 in search of a better future. I started the second grade once I moved out here and was placed on an ESL program at school that did not give me the attention and learning methods that I needed. It was frustrating to have kids laugh at me because I was just put in a computer with headphones that wasn’t teaching me how to communicate with others. The school system failed me, so I took it upon myself to find my own way of learning a different language. At the time Math was my favorite subject, I was naturally gifted and was about the only subject that didn’t really require me to know too much English. Months went by and I started speaking fluently around teachers and suddenly it became easier to make friends. I was so glad I could finally communicate with someone other than myself. Eventually I went off to college with a full scholarship for playing soccer, and would have never believed I would be the one to graduate top of my class with honors and a 1st place medal for representing Huston- Tillotson University Science Society better known as Beta Kappa Chi. I graduated early due to creeping out of Spanish classes and receiving full credits with pre requirements for my doctorate. 2018 I finally received my bachelor in Science and continue to strive for my doctorate. If i can do it, anyone can do it too!

About the lesson

Learning With me is fun and will guarantee to keep kids from all ages engaged and wake up deeper interests and talents to reinforce them. I will custom learning methods for every single individual because everyone has different ways of learning and I will make sure your kids succeed in every aspect of it.
