About Smriti
I have over 10 years of teaching experience, including 5 years of teaching IBDP and CP Psychology at one of the most prestigious schools in Gurgaon. I have extensive experience guiding students in Internal Assessments (IA) and Extended Essays (EE), providing structured academic support and mentorship. The Psychology classes are designed to develop students’ critical thinking, research skills, and understanding of human behaviour through a scientific and ethical lens. The curriculum covers core psychological concepts, theories, and research methodologies, with a strong emphasis on real-world application and inquiry-based learning.
At the IBDP and CP level, students are guided through:
Biological, Cognitive, and Sociocultural approaches to behaviour
Research methods, ethical considerations, and data analysis
Case studies, experiments, and evaluation of psychological research
Structured preparation and mentoring for Internal Assessments (IA) and Extended Essays (EE), including topic selection, research design, data interpretation, and academic writing
Teaching strategies include discussions, experiments, case analysis, presentations, and exam-oriented practice to ensure conceptual clarity and assessment readiness.
At the CBSE level, the focus is on:
Building strong foundational understanding of psychological concepts
Application of theory to everyday life and social issues
Exam preparation, answer structuring, and conceptual clarity
