About Ray
I am an enthusiastic Guitar tutor with 13 years of experience and over 350 students taught. I work with high school and college students, designing lessons that are practical, interactive, and enjoyable. I focus on building technical skills, musical creativity, and confidence, helping students explore their own style while mastering the fundamentals.
One milestone I treasure is guiding students to perform at college events and competitions, witnessing their dedication and growth. My teaching philosophy emphasises musical expression, self-confidence, and a lifelong love for Guitar, aiming to make every lesson meaningful and inspiring.

I follow a clear and student-friendly guitar teaching methodology based on communication, accountability, and integrity. I explain guitar techniques in simple language, from beginner chords to advanced strumming patterns. Good communication helps students feel relaxed and confident during lessons.
I build accountability by helping students set goals and follow regular practice schedules. I review progress and give guidance to support improvement. Integrity is very important in my teaching. I focus on correct posture, technique, and musical fundamentals to build strong foundations.
Lessons are adapted to each student’s level and musical interests. I include exercises, rhythm training, and song practice to make learning engaging. I also teach related subjects such as music theory, improvisation, and composition to support complete musical growth.
My approach is patient, organised, and motivating. I help students enjoy guitar learning while improving steadily.
