About Catherin
With 8 years of ESL teaching experience, I have guided 150–200 High School and College students towards academic improvement and personal growth. Teaching is my passion, and I enjoy helping students gain confidence in English.
I focus on making lessons clear, practical, and interactive. I break down grammar and vocabulary into simple, understandable steps and provide exercises that build speaking, reading, and writing skills. I aim to create a positive environment where students feel comfortable practising without fear of mistakes.
One proud milestone has been helping students transform from hesitant speakers into confident communicators. Many have improved their exam scores and participated more actively in class discussions and presentations.
I tailor my lessons to each student’s needs and encourage regular practice. My goal is to help students not only master English but also enjoy the learning process and believe in their abilities.

My ESL teaching methodology emphasises communication, clarity, and real-world application. I design lessons using real-life examples and case studies that connect English learning to daily life, work, and academic situations. Motivation is key to my approach, and I encourage students with regular feedback and achievable goals. When challenges arise, I use problem-solving strategies to break down complex grammar, vocabulary, and pronunciation issues. Integrity guides my teaching practice, ensuring honesty, professionalism, and respect in every session.
Flexibility allows me to customise lessons for different proficiency levels. Along with ESL, I teach business English, academic communication, spoken English, and interview preparation.
